5 Reasons Why Anak-Anak Pants Are The Comfiest Pants Around!

There is nothing more comfortable and stylish at the same time than our harem pants for babies, kids and adults. Fun and exceptional quality fabric are our standard components for these awesome pants. Here is why they are simply the best:
1. Rib Knit Waistband
This is the best part of our harems! It might seem odd to you to have such a wide waistband but there are many reasons why it is designed this way. Firstly it spreads the pressure over a wide area, meaning its nearly impossible for it to "cut in". Secondly this is easily folded down to make them appear shorter or smaller. This wide waistband is so stretchy that you can choose to wear it high around the waist or down low on the hips. Because it is so wide it is versatile and adjusts to the growth of your kids. You can change up the way you wear them and create a different look.
We do not use elastic bands for our waistbands because they can cut in and feel to tight. Rib knit is made differently compared to just normal jersey material. The RIB is the reason why it stretches more than 50% across the grain and that makes them so comfy. Most of our ribbing is made form super soft organic cotton in Europe and has a great return. Even after multiple washes it keeps its elasticity.
2. Stretchy Jersey
Our cotton or organic cotton jersey feels so soft on the skin and is nice and stretchy. We import most of it directly from Europe, that is why the designs are just that little bit different to everything else you see around. They wash up well and last a long time. All cotton is certified cotton form Europe and is ethically produced. The fun and quirky designs stand out make people smile. Most of our fabric contains 95% cotton or organic cotton and 5% elastane. Make sure you wash them inside out and dry them the same way to keep the vibrant colours as strong as possible.
3. Loose fitting cut
Designed with practicality and comfort in mind this cut is meant to be loose and generous. The harem style is so fun and different, it transfers comfy pants from a daggy track pant to a stylish and modern looking pair of pants. You can now feel like you are wearing trackies but look really good in them! Ha! The high quality fabric feels nice and soft on the skin and is light and easy to wear. When your kids start to dress themselves this is a great cut for them as they are nice and loose and are so easy to put on as they are stretchy and comfortable.
4. Variable sizing
We generally recommend to go up one size when purchasing our pants - just because they are meant to look baggy and loose and this way you get the most out of them. They are made to last a long time and wash up well - they will definitely last longer if you buy a bigger size. We start at 3 months - so if you are looking for a newborn we think thats the size to get. They will always grow into them and eventually grow out of them, too - but there is another great tip for when that happens:
5. Ankle cuffs
The soft and stretchy rib knit ankle cuffs make it possible to wear them as 3/4 length shorts. They look really good and different and it is a clever way to get the most out of your Anak-Anak Harems! The cuffs for the Joggers and Mamas are made extra long so you can fold or roll them up and adjust to the leg length or desired look you require. The cuffs on the kids and baby harem pants are made from our fantastic quality ribbing and make sure - when you buy a bigger size- the pants don't fall over their little feet and toddlers don't trip on long hems.
This is great especially when they start pulling themselves up on furniture! If you are a mum of a one year old or older child you will know that this is how they often loose their pants, by tripping on their hems. I also found that other pants were hindering my girls from pulling themselves up successfully as their pants would be pulled down and be in the way - this won't happen with our pants.
